Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) is hiring CDL Bus Operators in Denton, Texas. The hourly rate now starts at $21.34 per hour, with a potential hiring bonus for CDL licensed candidates.

As a Bus Operator you will deliver safe, reliable transportation, maintain schedules, collect fares, and assist customers. Must have a Texas Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements; applicants must have at least two years of driving history.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and possess a valid Texas Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements.
• High School Diploma or GED required; customer service experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit and support vehicles safely and on schedule.
• Maintain designated routes and shift availability.
• Perform routine safety inspections and report defects.
• Collect fares and provide accurate information to passengers.
