Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL with passenger endorsement in good standing.
• At least one year of professional driving experience.
• Drives fixed routes and operates vehicles and equipment (wheelchair lifts/ramps, bus).
• Drives routes and operates headsigns, radios, fareboxes, etc.
• Operates vehicles on official transit business per safety plan.
• Flexible schedule may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives buses safely and courteously.
• Provides customer information on services and fares.
• Assists passengers in boarding and alighting, including elderly or mobility-impaired.
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections and notes issues.
• Documents survey data (boarding/alighting, shelters, maintenance).
