Job summary

RATP Dev USA is seeking a Bus Operator to safely operate transit buses across fixed routes, ensuring passenger safety and timely service in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will handle fare collection, assist passengers including those with disabilities, and coordinate with dispatch for detours and incidents. Applicants must hold a valid CDL with passenger and air-brake endorsements and meet DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CDL with passenger and air-brake endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses safely through city and freeway traffic.
• Provide quality customer service and assist passengers, including those with disabilities.
• Follow routes, stops, and dispatch instructions accurately.
• Adhere to FMCSR, state and local laws and company safety rules.
• Record fares and operate farebox and radio systems as required.
• Coordinate detours and incidents with Dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and DVIR per FMCSR.
