Job summary

RATP Dev USA Go-Durham is seeking a Bus Operator to transport passengers safely and courteously on planned routes in Durham, NC. You will ensure compliance with laws and operate all equipment, including lifts, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a DOT Physical, a high school diploma, and a valid NC CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements (or an equivalent CDL). We offer full- and part-time shifts and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT Physical exam required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NC CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements (or CDL A/B with endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely and courteously on prescribed routes.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws governing bus operation.
• Provide high quality service to customers.
• Assist customers including those with disabilities, with lifts and restraints.
• Promote safety and follow procedures to reduce accidents.
• Coordinate detour and incident information with dispatch.
