Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential trash and recycling pickup. The driver works around 150 miles from home, lifts and deposits waste into a compactor, and remains vigilant about safety and maintenance needs.

You will report defects and accidents as part of daily duties. The role includes pre/post trip inspections, compliance with driving rules and company policies, and driving maneuvers into loading/unloading positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years.
• CDL Class A/B license is required; must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pickup.
• Lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report maintenance needs to management.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations and follow company policies.
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections and safely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
