Job summary

Republic Services in Park City, UT seeks a Driver-CDL (B) to operate a collection truck safely and provide reliable waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle readiness per safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or assigned by dispatcher.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact with customers, dispatchers and others daily to ensure routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers according to procedures.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and clean spills following safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and minimize downtime by keeping truck clean and reports up to date.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports as required.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
