Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services across assigned routes. The role requires pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, with daily VCRs and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include on-route service to customers, loading waste, operating the compactor, and maintaining professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete required route and productivity reports and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
