Job summary

Republic Services in Minnesota seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily VCRs, and adhere to Company and regulatory rules.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, following route sheets, loading refuse, and maintaining professional customer interactions. A valid CDL-B with air brakes is required, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate heavy trucks along designated routes and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure routes are serviced timely and professionally.
• Maintain safety and compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements; complete required reports.
