Job summary

Republic Services in Minnesota is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to identify and address any defects.

The role requires performing pre- and post-operation inspections, following routes, loading refuse, and maintaining courteous customer interactions while meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Ability to safely operate a heavy truck and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
