Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers in Missouri. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and timely reporting of route activities.

The driver will follow route sheets, load waste, interact with customers, and ensure vehicle readiness while maintaining high service quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills and courteous interactions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the route and service customers as identified.
• Operate controls to load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of materials at the facility.
• Interact with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them as required.
• Monitor waste to detect unacceptable materials.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean around the packer blade and truck body.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports.
• Adhere to productivity standards to service customers efficiently.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
• Perform other duties as assigned with professionalism and reliability.
