Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) in Missouri to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle safety compliance, complete daily VCRs, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.

The role starts early shifts from 4-5am and runs Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities. The position requires a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and a commitment to excellent customer

Qualifications

Valid CDL-B with air brakes endorsement.
Safe operation and adherence to safety standards.
Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher.
Operate controls to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure routes are serviced timely and professionally.
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
Monitor waste for unacceptable waste and report issues.
