Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure the vehicle complies with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) as required.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading waste materials, servicing designated routes, maintaining productivity, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate heavy truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor per safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
• Complete route and VCR reports as required.
