Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL‑B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and service customer routes with courtesy and timeliness.

The role emphasizes adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and ongoing participation in the ReSOP program. Local routes and overtime opportunities are available, with union benefits and a DOT designation.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes and service customers as assigned.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports.
