Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company regulations. The role requires daily vehicle inspections, proper loading and disposal, and courteous customer interactions.

Responsibilities include following route sheets, maintaining reports, and meeting productivity standards while adhering to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reports any issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes and service customers as per route sheet or dispatcher directions.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor per safety policies and dispose at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and colleagues to ensure timely and professional service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports; maintain productivity standards.
