Job summary

CST Utilities is seeking a Septic & Grease Truck Operator to operate vacuum trucks for pumping, transporting, and disposing of septic waste and grease trap waste for residential, commercial, and municipal customers. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and equipment care on every job.

On-site work requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations, while adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Tanker endorsement and verifiable insurability.
• Able to lift 65 lbs or more and access crawl spaces.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety gear use.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel to job sites and be on an on-call rotation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client properties to inspect septic tanks, grease traps, and systems and propose action.
• Communicate with supervisor on site about tools needed and crew requirements.
• Regularly pump and clean septic tanks as required.
• Remove grease buildup from commercial kitchen grease traps.
• Complete and submit quotes and service paperwork as needed.
• Discuss proper maintenance with clients for long-term care.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls promptly.
