Bethlehem Sewerage & Excavating Ser in Bethlehem, PA is hiring a CDL Pump Truck Driver/Laborer to operate septic pump trucks and support sewer excavation projects on-site.

The role requires physical labor, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Strong customer service and teamwork are valued; experience in septic services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience in septic services or excavation preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and drug free in customer facing position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate septic pump trucks to service residential and commercial septic systems as well as restaurant grease traps
• Locate, uncover, and pump septic tanks; digging may be required
• Assist with excavation and installation / repair of sewer and water lines
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Collect payments and provide excellent customer service
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

The ideal candidate will primarily operate a septic / grease pump truck but also assist in various sewer excavation projects on an as needed basis, ensuring efficient and safe operations on‑site. This role involves physical labor, equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols.
