General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking a Truck Driver/Forklift Operator to support our transportation department. You will operate forklifts and a variety of trucks, perform deliveries, and move large loads across shipyard facilities and off-site locations.

The role requires a CDL Class B or higher with air brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to work all shifts. Training for a TLD qualification is provided.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or 2+ years of related technical experience.
• 5+ years of driving or warehouse experience.
• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B or Higher with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to obtain a TLD with training.
• Ability to work all shifts based on business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, stake trucks, vans, tanker trucks and box trucks.
• Perform pick-up, delivery and movement of large loads within the shipyard and at off-site locations.
• Participate in snow removal, material scanning, and dispatch of deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe driving record and comply with CDL requirements.
