Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, stake trucks, vans, tanker trucks, and box type trucks.
• Pick up, deliver and move large diverse loads within the shipyard, at off-site locations, at the sub base, and on public highways.
• Participate in snow removal efforts and hand sorting; material scanning to receive/dispatch deliveries.
• Deliver carriable and palletized material from various warehouses and offices.
• Work in unheated environments and adhere to procedural compliance.
• Qualification for a TLD training as required.

Be a part of the our growing transportation department and help power the mission. Duties would include the operation of a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, stake trucks, van, tanker trucks, and box type trucks. Requirements include pick-up, delivery and moving large diverse loads within the shipyard, at our off site locations, at the sub base, and on public highways. Role also requires participation in snow removal efforts, hand sorting, material scanning to receive and dispatch material deliveries, delivering carriable and/or palletized material from various warehouses and offices, working in unheated environments, Sensitive Material Knowledge, procedural compliance and the ability to qualify for a TLD (J-training provided). Job requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or Higher. Air brake endorsement required. A bus and/or hazmat endorsement to the individual’s CDL would be desirable.

• Applicant must be able to obtain drug/alcohol testing.


• Applicant must be able to work any shift.
