Richards Building Supply is seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver for our Muskegon, MI location. The role involves delivering materials to job sites, unloading as needed, and assisting with warehouse duties. Flatbed and Moffett experience are desired, with overtime available on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license required with Air Brake Endorsement.
• 1 year of CDL Class B or 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
• Flatbed, Moffett, and Laddervator operating experience preferred.
• DOT medical card current.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and manual material handling.
• Background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to job sites safely and unload as requested by customers.
• Receive materials in warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure weight distribution per DOT rules.

Job description

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class A or B Driver for our Muskegon, MI Location.

Flatbed & Moffett experience desired.

Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

2 years CDL Class A driving experience or 1 year CDL Class B driving experience.

Requirements:

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
