Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. in Dayton, OH is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to join our team. You will deliver building materials to job sites, unload as requested, and assist with warehouse receiving and inventory control.

Ideal candidates may hold CDL Class B, A, or with Air Brake Endorsement; we provide training if needed. Typical hours are 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M., Monday–Friday, with home every night and overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement (or CDL A) required.
• 1 year CDL B driving experience or 2 years CDL A experience.
• Heavy lifting experience required.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to job sites safely.
• Unload materials as requested by customers.
• Receive materials in the warehouse and process inventory.
• Load trucks for daily deliveries and manage loading/unloading.

CDL Class B Driver – Dayton, OH

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Dayton, OH location. Candidates may also have a CDL Class A or CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement.

Flatbed, Moffett, Boom Truck, Crane, and Forklift experience desired, but we are willing to train. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to job sites, physically unloading material per the customer’s request, and for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

Minimum driving experience: 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.

Requirements

• Ability to continually lift 50–100 lbs. of material throughout the day; occasional lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries, securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to designated area.
