The role emphasizes punctual, courteous service, multi-vehicle operation, adherence to safety policies, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (New York drivers).
• CDL with 1 year of driving experience.
• Must possess or obtain valid state licenses/certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Passenger Endorsement & Airbrake Endorsement required.
• Must pass safety-sensitive drug testing per policy.
• Must complete training and attend safety meetings.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist passengers.
• Practice defensive driving to avoid accidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation to passengers on fixed or changing routes.
• Report maintenance issues and do not operate unsafe vehicles.
• Maintain on-time performance and orderly vehicle turnover.
• Assist passengers during evacuations when needed and manage passenger behavior.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable; wear a neat professional appearance.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to the appropriate authority in a timely manner.
• Promote company goodwill through cooperative attitude with colleagues and customers.
• Prepare vehicle for inclement weather and ensure proper fueling and readiness.
