Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in St. Louis is seeking a Street Sweeper for the 1st shift, Mon-Fri 6am-6pm. You will operate the street sweeper along assigned routes, keeping streets clean and well-maintained.

You’ll perform pre-trip inspections, follow safety procedures, and report issues promptly. CDL-B and DOT Medical Card are required, with a clean driving record and DOT/MVR checks.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services preferred.
• CDL-B and DOT Medical Card required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the street sweeper on assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain compliance with traffic laws and site protocols.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate professionally with team and clients as needed.
