Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in Thousand Palms, CA is looking for a Street Sweeper to own assigned routes, operate specialized equipment, and help keep streets clean with rigorous attention to safety and quality. The role requires a CDL-B and DOT Medical Card, plus 1 year of DOT driving experience.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, report issues promptly, and communicate with supervisors and clients while maintaining dependable attendance on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and pass MVR, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Route Execution: Review routes and complete work on time with quality.
• Safety & Inspections: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment safety.
• Equipment & Material Handling: Operate equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Reporting & Documentation: Report equipment issues and maintain logs.
• Professional Communication: Represent the Company professionally with supervisors and clients.
• Adaptability & Reliability: Respond to changing conditions and maintain dependable attendance.
