Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in Dayton, OH is seeking a Day Street Sweeper (CDL-B) for a full-time, first-shift role. You will operate a street sweeper, manage routes, and uphold safety standards to ensure clean streets and compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have a CDL-B, a DOT Medical Card, and at least 1 year of DOT driving experience. Competitive hourly pay ($18-19/hr), benefits, and weekly pay are offered to support strong performance and safety on the job.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Pass MVR, background check, and drug screening as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned routes and drive the street sweeper.
• Operate equipment safely and follow traffic laws and site protocols.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Accurately complete logs, manifests, and forms.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
