Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Day Street Sweeper (CDL B) on the Hermitage, TN site for full-time daytime shifts. You will operate a street sweeper on assigned routes, conduct safety inspections, and ensure timely, quality completion of work while maintaining professional communication with the team.

Required are a CDL-B with DOT Medical Card and at least 1 year of DOT driving experience; the role includes minimal travel and a hourly wage of $21–$22.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Pass MVR, background check, and drug screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Drive street sweeper on assigned routes.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete jobs within the allotted time with quality and attention to detail.
• Report equipment issues or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safe.
• Maintain logs, manifests and required forms.
• Communicate professionally with team, supervisors and clients.
