Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is hiring a Day Street Sweeper (CDL-B) in San Marcos, CA for a full-time day shift. You will drive a street sweeper on assigned routes, perform safety checks, and document operations to ensure clean streets and compliant service.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year DOT driving experience (waste/recycling preferred), a CDL-B, and a DOT medical card. Must be 21+ with a clean MVR and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year DOT driving experience; waste & recycling preferred.
• CDL-B license and DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record and pass required checks.

Responsibilities

• Route Execution: complete assigned work on time with quality.
• Safety & inspections: pre- and post-trip inspections; equipment safe.
• Equipment handling: operate equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Reporting & documentation: log and report issues promptly.
• Professional communication: represent the company professionally.
• Adaptability & reliability: adjust to changes; maintain attendance.
