Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring a local CDL Class B route driver to deliver products to grocery stores and ensure in-store availability. You will follow local routes, unload deliveries, and use handheld devices to document activity while building customer relationships.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, a Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement, be at least 21, and pass required background, drug, and DOT checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to meet medical certification requirements.
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen products using appropriate equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products and place in back room, collecting proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily tasks.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
