Job summary

Schwan's Company is actively hiring for a CDL Class B route driver. In this role you will provide route coverage, deliver products, place orders, and merchandise to ensure products are available on store shelves. You will develop leadership skills for future advancement.

The position requires 50-75% travel (overnight sometimes) with an early morning start, typically Mon-Fri; weekends may be required occasionally. You will unload, stock, drive sales, and ensure DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and able to meet medical certification; must be 21+.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage while delivering product and merchandising for shelf availability.
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
