Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a local CDL Class B route representative in Cadillac, MI to sell, deliver, and merchandise products at stores. You will place orders, drive incremental sales, and maintain in-store displays to ensure product availability for shoppers.

Responsibilities include using handheld sales software, building retailer relationships, and complying with DOT rules. Requires a CDL-B with airbrake, 21+, ability to lift 35 lbs, and background/DOT checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment.
• Must meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sell and deliver product, place orders, and merchandise to ensure products are available on store shelves.
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, rotate product, and unload products.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform daily truck inspections.
