Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Morrow, GA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). The role trains toward a CDL B to operate a Class B box truck for onsite service, parts washer maintenance, and pickup of hazardous waste along a defined route. CDL training is paid by the company.

Qualifications

• CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required by position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate/collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Comply with local, state (provincial) and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per US DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe all company environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
