Job summary

Safety-Kleen in South Bend, IN is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). You will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a defined route.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills; strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service and safety awareness.
• Background check, drug test, and medical examination as required.

Responsibilities

• Train to drive a Class B box truck for onsite service.
• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Serve automotive, fleets and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Follow all DOT, state, provincial and federal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
