Safety-Kleen in Macon, GA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee to train for a Class B box truck role, servicing parts washers, handling drums, and selling products on a defined route. CDL training is provided by Safety-Kleen.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class B CDL and obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong customer service skills are necessary.
• Physically able to perform job duties as described.
• Background check, drug test, and medical requirements may apply.
• Must comply with OSHA respirator standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state/provincial and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles according to US DOT and other requirements.
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
