Safety-Kleen in Rohnert Park, CA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services on a defined route.

Safety-Kleen will pay for you to obtain your CDL. Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services across the United States.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Physically able to perform duties including lifting and driving.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required by position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the priority by following all safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete all required documentation and labeling.
• Generate/collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Follow local, state (provincial) and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
