Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety regulations, and courteous customer interaction on daily routes.

The driver will monitor vehicle condition, complete reports, and follow dispatch instructions to ensure efficient service delivery. Compensation includes an hourly wage of $26.25 with standard benefits and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and service each customer on the route sheet.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and report any safety issues on standard reports.
• load refuse using the packer and operate control systems per safety procedures.
• maintain timely routes by communicating with dispatch and customers to ensure service quality.
• complete required route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• adhere to company safety policies and ReSOP program.
• represent the company with courteous, professional customer service.
