Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a driver to operate straight and pup trucks delivering dairy products to schools, grocery stores, and other customers in the Houston area. You will follow routes, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain records and vehicle condition.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement. Prior DFA route experience is a plus. Stay compliant with DOT rules and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement required.
• Must meet DOT requirements and DFA rules.
• Experience driving straight/pup trucks preferred (up to 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight or pup truck per DOT and DFA rules and safety standards.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers per route schedule.
• Follow routes and report delays due to conditions or breakdowns.
• Load/unload products at stops; stock/rotate as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Ensure proper securing of loads before travel and at stops.
• Complete daily paperwork including delivery tickets and driver logs.
• Represent DFA professionally during customer interactions.
