Job summary

Dairy Challenge in Austin, TX is seeking a delivery driver to operate a straight or pup truck and deliver dairy products to customers such as schools, grocery stores, and nursing homes according to a route schedule.

You will ensure safety and DOT compliance, maintain good customer relations, and complete all required paperwork while communicating with supervisors and customers to guarantee timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a straight truck or pup truck (last 5 years).
• CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement and DFA/DOT compliance.
• Must meet DFA, DOT and age requirements.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle per DOT/ DFA rules.
• Deliver products to customers according to route schedule.
• Load/unload at stops and ensure correct inventory handling.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Complete daily paperwork including driver logs and delivery tickets.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues with customers.
