Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and perform waste removal services for customers in the Phoenix area. The role requires pre- and post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with Company, state, and federal regulations.

The driver will read route sheets, service customers on the route, load refuse with the packer, and complete daily reports while maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks and perform pre/post inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along designated route to service customers.
• Load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports.
• Follow safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
