Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role requires adherence to safety standards, daily VCRs, and on-time service while following route sheets and dispatcher instructions.

You will perform thorough vehicle inspections, engage with customers professionally, and document routes and incidents. A Class B CDL with air brakes is mandatory, with a focus on safety and reliability for local operations.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Good customer service skills and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on assigned routes and service each customer.
• Load refuse and operate the packer blade; dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis.
• Complete route productivity sheets and safety reports as required.
