Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide timely waste removal service to customers. You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports, reporting any defects as required.

The role prioritizes courteous customer interactions, adherence to regulations, and on-time route completion, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities within our North American network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment and gauges are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service customers as identified on route sheets.
• Load refuse with proper controls and dispose at designated facilities while following safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Complete required reports (VCRs, route/productivity sheets) and maintain productivity standards.
