Job summary

Republic Services in Midland, TX is seeking a Driver with a CDL-B to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services for customers. You will perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, comply with safety standards, and complete required reports and VCRs.

You will read route sheets, service customers on your designated routes, load waste, and interact courteously with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Clean driving record and valid license.
• Ability to safely operate a heavy collection truck and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Safely operate the truck along designated routes and service each customer on the route sheet.
• Load refuse, operate the packer/compactor, and dispose of materials at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers; report safety or service issues.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
