Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to operate a collection truck on assigned routes with a strong emphasis on safety and courtesy. You will perform thorough pre- and post-operation inspections, ensure compliance with safety standards, and document vehicle conditions daily.

The role requires reliable time management and consistent customer service on every stop. Responsibilities include loading waste, following route sheets, and interacting professionally with customers, dispatchers

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy pickup and collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-operation inspections on a daily basis.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes.
• Read route sheets and service each customer accordingly.
• Load refuse and operate the packer and controls in a safe manner.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and company rules.
