Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure your vehicle meets safety standards, complete VCRs daily, and follow all regulations while serving customers on your route.

The role emphasizes safety, timely service, and courteous customer interaction, with responsibilities spanning pre/post inspections, loading, and reporting vehicle issues to maintain operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the packer and disposal site.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers on a daily basis.
• Maintain daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) and report defects.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
