Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. The role requires maintaining safety compliance, completing daily VCRs, and following routes with professionalism.

The position emphasizes customer interaction, adherence to company policies, and maintaining vehicle readiness to minimize downtime on each disposal trip.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Excellent driving record and safe operation of heavy trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer as assigned.
• Load refuse, operate a packer/compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
