Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is hiring CDL B rear-load garbage truck drivers in Closter, NJ. Earn $27.00 per hour with a full benefits package and PTO. Work Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with year-round steady work.

Requirements include 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 7 years and a good safety record. DOT/OSHA knowledge and ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly are expected.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Drive rear-loading garbage trucks as assigned.
• Transport material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities; may make multiple trips per shift.
• Operate both manual and automatic trucks; conduct pre/post inspections.
