Job summary

Heller’s Gas in the Mid-Atlantic region seeks a delivery technician responsible for propane transport, safety checks, and installation/removal of tanks and gas appliances. You will operate company vehicles, perform leak tests, and educate customers on safe operation.

Candidates must hold a Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements, have a high school diploma, and pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Hazardous Materials endorsement on CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and to customer tanks.
• Verify tank information and serial numbers during deliveries.
• Perform visual inspections and report issues.
• Monitor truck tank levels and ensure adequate supply.
• Keep vehicles and tools clean and well-maintained.
• Educate customers on safe operation and maintenance.
