Job summary

Stark Library Inviting Informing Transforming seeks a Mobile Services Clerk-Driver to operate a bookmobile from our Operations Center. You will drive to diverse stops, assist patrons, and perform clerical duties at the center.

A valid Class B Ohio license and safe driving record are required. The role emphasizes customer service, book catalog assistance, and occasional notary/other services as part of library operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; valid Class B Ohio license and clean driving record.
• Experience with customer service and library systems preferred.
• Ability to operate and transport bookmobiles safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport library bookmobiles to schools, neighborhoods, and events.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Provide direct customer service and patron assistance at stops.
• Assist with clerical duties at Operations Center.
