Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is hiring CDL B Front Load Garbage Truck Drivers for routes in North Jersey and surrounding areas. The position starts early, Monday through Saturday with a 3am shift, offering an hourly pay rate of $30.00 and a full benefits package with PTO.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement.
• 1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years.
• Great safety record and clean MVR.
• Experience as a driver or helper for a refuse company is preferred.
• Ability to speak and read English; understand traffic signals and reports.
• Read and understand a map; meet physical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front, side, or rear-loading trucks for waste collection.
• Transport material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities; may make multiple trips.
• Operate both manual and automatic trucks as required.
• Perform driver inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards.
