Job summary

Orica is hiring a CDL Class B Driver in Poultney, VT, to deliver blasting products and provide field service to mining, quarry, and construction sites. The role is 40% driving and 60% field work, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will perform vehicle inspections, handle hazardous materials, and support customer operations while working outdoors in various conditions. A valid CDL-B and relevant endorsements are required or pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A is a plus.
• DOT regulations knowledge and safe driving practices.
• Willingness to obtain endorsements as needed.

Responsibilities

• This is a hybrid position combining 40% driving and 60% field work.
• Drive and deliver blasting products to customer sites and perform pre-trip / post-trip inspections.
• Safely hook up and unhook trailers and operate emulsion tanker and box trucks.
• Handle hazardous materials per safety and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings on a regular basis.
