Job summary

Republic Services in Kentucky is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

You will follow routes, load and unload waste, interact with customers professionally and maintain records such as route productivity sheets and VCRs.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes and service customers.
• Read route sheets, follow maps, and dispatch instructions.
• Tag and report unsatisfactory waste containers; follow safety procedures.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and daily vehicle condition reports.
