Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers in Kentucky. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily VCRs to address any defects.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading refuse, and courteously serving customers on your route while following company safety policies and reporting issues to the dispatcher. CDL-B with air brakes required.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Strong customer service skills and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow route sheets and dispatch instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes and service customers per the route sheet.
• Load refuse and operate the packer, disposing at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers daily.
• Complete required reports, route productivity sheets and VCRs; maintain safety standards.
